About Tanya McCoy, ND

I was born and raised in Orange County, NY and attended SUNY Orange and Oswego where I studied Biological Sciences. It was an experience with a personal health crisis that inspired me to become an ND. After graduating in 2009 with a doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran University of Health Sciences) I returned home and started my practice, Sage Advice Naturopathic Care.

Practicing in an unlicensed state is a challenge but a desire to share what I've learned and serve my community has kept me going. It's been fifteen years and I'm thankful to still be here assisting those who seek a holistic, proactive approach to health and wellness.

I'm licensed as a naturopathic physician in Vermont and work with clients in NY, NJ and PA where I practice as a naturopathic and functional health consultant. Due to restrictions in NY where I am based, I've added a Milford, PA location to expand the services that I can offer, including hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA). My approach applies naturopathic principles, functional blood chemistry and hair tissue mineral analysis and I provide my clients with experienced guidance and personalized recommendations to support balance and promote healing. 

My areas of focus are general wellness and prevention, digestive issues, musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders, autoimmunity and Women's health.
