What to expect

Naturopathic care begins with a comprehensive intake consultation that reviews your current symptoms, medical history, eating habits, stress level, lifestyle factors, blood work from a functional perspective and hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA). This allows for an in-depth understanding of your present health concern(s) and investigates the root cause(s) of your symptoms.

HTMA samples are mailed to the lab around the time that your initial intake appointment is scheduled. The HTMA report is received in 1-2 weeks and then your initial follow up appointment is scheduled.

During your initial follow up consultation you will be provided with insights into your case, guidance about next steps, and nutrition and lifestyle recommendations tailored to your health goals, pace and budget. Recommended supplements that you decide to include are sent to you through Emerson Ecologics at a steep  client discount.

Follow up visits give the opportunity to assess  your progress, address your questions and modify your recommendations as needed.

The decision to begin naturopathic care sets you on a path of healing that can be life changing. While there is no guarantee of success,  your progress is to a great extent dependent upon your level of participation and dedication to the process
